# The English Edition of the MN7R Guide Is Now Available We have published the English edition of the MN7R practical guide to agri-commodity brokerage. It is an adapted international version. The structure, core logic and practical spirit are the same, but the English edition is written for a wider brokerage audience: broker teams, traders, operators and market participants working not only in the Black Sea region, but also across Europe and other grain and oilseed markets. ## Why we made an English edition MN7R started with a very practical problem: agri-commodity brokerage is still too often managed through chats, spreadsheets, personal memory and scattered files. That works until it does not. A broker may have an offer in one chat, a bid in another, a counter in a screenshot, logistics in a call, a legal detail in an old email, and the actual status of the deal somewhere in a spreadsheet called “final_actual_last_real.xlsx”. This is not a workflow. It is an archaeological excavation with commission potential. The guide explains the market from the ground up: what grains and oilseeds are, how physical commodity deals work, what a broker actually does, why logistics and basis matter, why deals die, what risks beginners usually miss, and why modern brokerage needs structured data, clean client context, execution discipline and a proper working monitor. ## What is inside The English edition covers: - grains, oilseeds and primary processing products; - the difference between brokers, traders, exporters, importers, processors and logistics participants; - offers, bids, matches, trades, contracts and execution; - why deals die before they become real business; - logistics by truck, rail, barge, port and vessel; - basis and why price without basis means very little; - how basis, freight and logistics build the real commercial price; - price, logistics, quality, counterparty, documentation and execution risks; - what makes a broker strong; - why Excel and messengers are useful but should not become the operating system of a brokerage team; - how MN7R thinks about Clients, Deals, EXE, matching, reference data, governance and team brokerage. The book is written as a practical guide, not as an academic textbook.
